Response to Rumor of Threats
Dear Dolgeville School Community,
We want to assure our students, parents, staff, and the wider community that the safety and security of our schools remain our highest priority.
We are aware of recent concerns and rumors circulating, and we have taken all necessary steps to investigate these matters thoroughly in collaboration with local law enforcement.
We can confirm that there are currently no credible threats to any of our school campuses.
Our campuses are safe, and all school operations are proceeding normally. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and to utilize our established channels for reporting any concerns directly to school administration or law enforcement. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and communicate transparently with the community.
Thank you for your cooperation and for entrusting us with the safety of your children.
Sincerely,
Joseph J. Gilfus, Superintendent of Schools

Dolgeville Central School District Playground Area -Temporarily Closed
Dear Dolgeville School Community,
Currently, and through Memorial Day Weekend, the Dolgeville Central School District Playgrounds and Cage Area are temporarily closed due to construction. We understand this news is disappointing, but the district has made the decision to schedule renovations to these important areas now so that we can enjoy them beginning early June and through the Summer and Fall seasons. Our goal is to turn these upgraded facilities back over to our school community as quickly as possible. Thank you so much for your understanding, cooperation and patience. Please contact me at any time with questions.
Sincerely,
Joseph J. Gilfus, Superintendent of Schools
