Last week at our Dolgeville Connected School, Dolgeville Connected Project Manager, Sarah
Williams-Herringshaw collaborated with Ms. Marina Bridgham from Oneida County Cornell
Extension, Child Care Council. We were so happy to welcome Ms. Marina back to our
Connected school, and this visit was all about perspective taking, and understanding different
points of view. Ms. Marina did seven different presentations to over eleven different classes.

Dolgeville Connected Programming: Ms. Deb Grogan and Ms. Rachel Zielenski, from First Source Federal Credit Union visited with our Dolgeville Central School students. The team brought a plethora of banking information to our students including discussing the power of interest, setting SMART goals, and information and breakdown of a savings account vs. a checking account! Such amazing lessons are happening at our Dolgeville Connected School! Working to ensure our students have strong life skills and foundational knowledge to be educated and go out into the world well-prepared. #DolgevilleConnected💙 #FirstSourceFederalCreditUnion

Today at our Dolgeville Connected School, we had an amazing visit from our Cornell Companions from Oneida County Cornell Cooperative Extension! Ms. Terri and her handsome dog Max, visited with all of our DES 3rd graders today, as well as several high school friends and staff! It was a terrific way to end our first week back at school! We are so thankful and appreciative to Ms. Terri, Max and our wonderful companions at Cornell! It is so great to be Connected! #DolgevilleConnected💙

This morning our SOAR team invited our community responders to participate in our first High-Five Friday here at DCS. We are very thankful for the support they provide our community each and every day!

Our elementary and high school staff kicked off September with an inspiring SweetHearts & Heroes training led by Tom Murphy!
We focused on running "circles," a powerful way to listen to our students, build strong relationships, and create a positive district culture.
We are also thrilled to welcome Josiah McKeon, who will be working with Dolgeville students and staff every Monday this school year to keep building those meaningful connections!

A huge thank you to GPO who generously donated school supplies to our students. Our Kindergarten and First grade teams who accepted the donation.

Upgraded Playground and Recess Area (Cage) is now open for play!
Dear Dolgeville School Community,
Thank you for your continued patience through our capital improvement project. I am happy to announce that our upgraded playground and cage area are now open for the public and school community to enjoy. Please use caution on the grass outside these areas as new seeding has been placed and new grass is slowly growing. Play safe as always and enjoy!

School Paving and Parking
Dear Dolgeville School Community,
Paving at the school has started. On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the Beaver Street Extension Road and Elementary Parking Lots will be closed so that paving can take place.
On Tuesday, August 11th, please use the Slawson Street entrance to the main parking lot only. Please do not use the One Way Road and when turning in and parking in the large parking lot at the Jr. Sr. High School, please stay off the new pavement.
We appreciate your cooperation and expect the Beaver Street Extension closure to be only for next Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
