Today at our Dolgeville Connected School, Project Manager Sarah Williams-Herringshaw partnered with Nicole Wilson, Employment and Training Director from Herkimer Working Solutions to bring more career exploration, future planning, and job readiness training to our Dolgeville students. This month was designated for local business speakers and representatives of potential career paths to come in for a panel discussion in the HUB. We had around 100 students connect with several professionals from Herkimer County Probation, MVCAA, Rawlings, and Gehring Tricot to chat about some of the aspects of their jobs, how they came to be in their positions, what their education and experience is, and how someone might begin a path in that certain career. It was an awesome discussion and presentation of information! We are connected! #DolgevilleConnected💙 #workingsolutions #goingoutintotheworldwellprepared
