Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball team for their sectional quarterfinal win over Tully on Wednesday night. The DCS boys varsity basketball team moves on to face Cooperstown in the sectional semifinals at Morrisville State College at 5:00 pm on Monday, March 2nd.

Sectional Update: Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball - Congratulations to the boys and girls varsity basketball teams for their first round home sectional wins on Saturday. The girls varsity basketball team will travel to play at Weedsport on Tuesday, 2/24 at 6:00 pm. The boys varsity basketball team will host Tully on Wednesday, 2/25 at 6:00 pm.
The varsity girls basketball team will host Sandy Creek at 1:00 pm on Saturday, 2/21 in sectional play. The varsity boys basketball team will host the winner of the APW/WCV at 2:30 pm on Saturday, 2/21 in sectional play. Congratulations to both teams!

Yesterday DES had a compliment day where they complimented people as they walked by. This coincided with our first day with SweetHearts and Heroes, where our elementary students were taught what bullying is and how to be a "hero" and help others in preventing it. Students learned that everyone can be a hero and everyone should show empathy and compassion to each other.
