DES Unity Week: Students and staff wrote messages on a heart that told someone how to be kind or show courage against bullying. Wear Orange Wednesday to show kindness, acceptance and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying. We also made a strong message chain to display around the school to show a united stand against bullying.

Mandatory Drill: Lock Down on Thursday October 9th Dear Dolgeville School Community, This information has been recently shared with staff and students - who are well informed and prepared. The District is required to conduct 4 Lockdown Drills per school year. We will conduct our first Lockdown Drill this Thursday afternoon following lunches. This drill is for practice and to provide necessary feedback to our staff and students for Lockdown drill procedures. Again, Lockdown drills are mandated by NYS and we at Dolgeville use such drills to practice, reflect and teach. We feel it's important to communicate these important points to you. Thank you in advance. Joseph J. Gilfus, Superintendent of Schools
