Extended Skills Transportation Notice for Thursday, January 8th
Dear DCS Elementary Parents and Guardians,
Please know that today we are combining our two Extended Skills buses (East and West), which will result in students arriving home a little later than normal. We apologize for this, and are 100% committed to holding our extended skills program for today and transporting your child(ren) home as normal.

Due to weather conditions and the recommendation of our highway departments, DCS will be closed today, Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Thank you.
DCS will be on a 2 Hour Delay on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, to allow highway and school personnel time to address projected weather conditions through early morning. Hopefully this early notice helps with your planning for the morning. No AM BOCES and Breakfast will be served. Thank you!
As a result of the pending weather, there will be NO After School Activities Today at Dolgeville CSD. This includes Athletics and Extended Skills.
Dolgeville CSD would like to congratulate Payton Comstock for scoring her 1000th point! The Blue Devils were also victorious during this contest against Mount Markham on 1/3/26. Congratulations Payton!
Dolgeville Central Schools is on an Emergency Closing Today, Monday, December 29, 2025, Due to dangerous road conditions and several reported district wide power outages. NO activities today and no staff are to report to school/work today - including essential workers. Thank you.

Our Elementary SOAR students, led by Mrs. Julie Castor, organized a bake sale and donated the proceeds to the Herkimer County Humane Society. In total, they raised $650! As a reward for their hard work, the students took a trip to the Cakery Cafe, where they were treated to cookies and hot cocoa.

Dolgeville CSD would like to recognize a coaching accomplishment. Coach Barb Allen of the varsity girl’s volleyball team notched her 700th career win with the team's victory over Herkimer on December 18th, 2025.
This achievement is a testament to Coach Allen's knowledge and passion for the sport of volleyball.
