Campus Parking for After School Events
Dear Dolgeville School Community,
As we begin our Winter Sports Season, please be reminded that designated areas are marked for those with handicapped permits, and also, please do not park in "no parking" zones in the elementary circle parking lot - as it creates a hazard and is unsafe. We appreciate your attendance at school sponsored events and your cooperation with our parking requests.
Thank you,
Joseph J. Gilfus, Superintendent of Schools.
Mark your calendars! On Sunday, December 7, NYEnergyZone is hosting a free Holly Jolly Party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Enjoy train rides on the “Mountain Express,” pictures with Santa, and festive holiday activities for the whole family. Free admission & parking!
This past Saturday, senior Grace Seeley competed in the NYSPHSAA championships at Queensbury High School. She finished 22nd out of 115 runners and was a member of the Section III team that won the Class D State Championship! Included is a picture of Grace with Mrs. Schook's preschool class, that Grace volunteers with in PE, wishing her good luck!
Congratulations to our Blue Devil Brags recipients for the week!
On Friday, November 14th, DCS students had the opportunity to participate in a multi district Elevating Student Voices program offered by the Oneida Herkimer Madison BOCES. This program gives high school students from different schools an opportunity to interact with each other and discuss topics relating to creating inclusive schools. This opportunity helps develop student leadership skills as they learn about the perspectives and life experiences of students across the region. Today, students worked on an action plan that they can carry out in their own schools as they lead efforts to ensure their schools celebrate diversity and are a welcoming space for everyone.
Join us next week!
