During a recent professional development session, our staff explored Cognitively Demanding Tasks—instructional strategies that challenge students to think critically, problem-solve, collaborate, and apply their learning in meaningful ways.

Through collaboration, discussion, and hands-on activities, our teachers worked together to explore ways to increase student engagement while maintaining high expectations and providing the support students need to succeed.
