First Grade
This is a list of the supplies that you will need at the start of school in September. Most of these supplies will need to be replenished frequently throughout the year.
- 24 sharpened pencils (#2). Please avoid pencils that are decorated or have a plastic coating as they break easily and do not sharpen well in our pencil sharpeners.
- 1 package of pencil top erasers
- 1 box of Crayola crayons (24 count package). Crayola is the best brand of crayons
- Plastic utility box (to hold pencils, crayons, glue and scissors) labeled with your name
- Student scissors
- 6 large glue sticks
- 1 pack (6 dry erase markers) of Expo dry erase markers (basic or black colors)
- Headphones with a straight jack (these will be returned at the end of the school year)
- Clorox wipes
- Girls: 1 box of Ziploc bags (quart size)
- Boys: 1 box of Ziploc bags (snack or sandwich size)
Needed daily
- Backpack (no wheels)
- Sneakers
- Reusable plastic water bottle for drinks (label with name)
Classroom Wish List. The following are items we will need for classroom use. Please consider sending in one or two of the following:

Grade 2
The fallowing is a list of supplies that your child will need to bring with them on the first day of school Tuesday, Sept. 7 Supplies will need to be replenished throughout the school year. Enjoy your summer and be sure to read with your child.

To help you plan:
- School pictures are typically held in September. Packages begin at around $20, though there are many packages to pick from with a variety of price ranges. Purchasing school pictures is optional.
- DCS Yearbook orders are also placed in the early Fall (typically October). Those who wish to,order a yearbook should plan on approximately $45. The yearbook company does allow for payment installments, but all money is typically due by the end of January.
