Message from Superintendent Joseph Gilfus:

School Board recognition Week is observed by the more than 700 school districts throughout New York State. Our state’s public education system is designed to meet the educational needs of all children and to empower all children to become competent, productive contributors to society in an every-changing world. School Boards continue to face unprecedented challenges of a pandemic, while working closely with educators to prepare our children for their future. Here at Dolgeville, our School Board consists of strong advocates for public education and accept the responsibility for communicating the needs of the school district to the public, and the public’s expectations to the district; doing so by working closely with parents, educational professionals, and other community members. Our School Board works hard to respond to the educational needs of the Dolgeville Community, ensuring a solid foundation for our school system. In observance of School Board Recognition Week, and on behalf of our school community, I, Joseph J. Gilfus, as Superintendent of Schools, would like to thank the Dolgeville Central School District Board of Education for their tireless commitment and contributions to our students, parents, extended families, faculty, staff, and the entire Dolgeville School Community. Your service is greatly appreciated!
