Mr. Risley graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh for Health Ed and K-9 Ed (Math). He received his Master's degree at Norwich University, Northfield, Vt.
He is also the District's Health and Safety Coordinator.

| Course Description |
|
Required for graduation from high school, Health class is the one course that will effect everyone, everyday of their life. The course addresses a variety of health issues/areas: physical health, mental/emotional health, and social health. The hopes are for each individual student to examine his/her own personal health. Students will learn that many factors in their lifestyles may be controlled by an individual, that in turn will help us become physically, mentally/emotionally, and socially healthy. In return they are improving on their individual’s quantity and quality of life. The goal of the course is to encourage individuals to change any health-destructive attitudes and behaviors in their own personal lives to more improved health-enhancing attitudes and behaviors. |
