The Madison-Oneida Math Project aligns our school’s math instruction with NYS math standards and assessments.  Teachers have divided the skills and concepts for each grade level into ten week blocks. At grades 2-6, students are assessed throughout the year to determine how well they have learned the skills and concepts taught.  In second grade, students take four “milestone” assessments throughout the course of the year.  At grades 3-6, students take “milestone” assessments in November, January, and June. In March, students take NYS Math Assessments.
